before tackling the large large LARGE arab israeli notes, i shall blog abit about yesterday's netball carn! ahha it rocked but so sad we lost to 410 by 2 points. if only we had won 409 or just submitted a banner. -cries very sadly-

haha okay so netball carn started when it was cloudy and oh it just had to rain. so we watched our cheerers cheer and okay i never heard 412 or the other class who won something, but in my heart YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. it was well performed and well sung and well written! haha it was seriously very very good!

so after that we went back outside and it had miraculously stopped raining! and so the games started. but from 7 min games they were cut to THREE. we were all quite ah..... -.- but despite peaceful protests to ms tan hai nee it stuck at that. anyway ms tan said something like one centre pass should be played within 17 seconds. -.^

mmm well the games were all quite uneventful, some of them were really heart stopping because we didnt score the first goal. ah but we won everybody except for 410 and 409. but here are some HIGHLIGHTS. (all of you know whats coming dont you?)

408 game.

okay i was so so so so so so traumatised okay. =( points to note: i was playing GD, shuting was playing GK. yeah so halfway through the game, i felt something hit my leg or hand or something. then when i turned around, i saw the opposing center on the floor clutching her ankle (btw i saw her on crutches today poor thing). then ahh... someone (the GA, the one i was defending) got very pissed off at us because she thought one of us pushed the center. anyway the center was helped off the court and that someone confronted shuting and said "shuting, do you know who pushed [insert center's name] down? it's either you or christin so one of you better go and apologise to her later." mmm then i dont know what shuting said to her but our first aider, weiming later said that the center reported that she tripped and no one pushed her. yeah.

okay so now that someone was fuming mad already. so at one point she made a short pass to her GS, but i whacked the ball away. PERPENDICULARLY away from them, not into them. Then suddenly she turned around and screamed into my face "CAN YOU STOP WHACKING THE BALL INTO PEOPLE'S FACES?" then i think i either gave her a blur look or a dirty look because i cant remember. yeahh so after that when we were toeing the line at the other side she pushed me. like on purpose. i can understand if she did that if the ball was potentially coming to me or something because sometimes you cant help doing it (i do it all the time anyway) but there was NO WAY the ball was going to come to us (and whats more the ball was in our safe possession in the D) so i can quite safely conclude that she did it out of spite.

oh and about the 409 game.

AHHH i could have stopped alot of balls going to junting i think. or maybe at least distracted her abit. but all the passes that went over, i didnt dare to back up because i was afraid of backing into junting and knocking her over! its something about her brace that makes you feel really really sorry for her. =( you know its quite sad she has to wear the brace all the time until she's 18 when she stops growing, which is when she can go for her operation. but i digress.

but all in all i think it was a relatively good day. we spent the rest of netball carn screaming our heads off after learning that we could have EASILY beaten 410 to the champions. XD at one point we all held hands and ran screaming across the field, before realising when we were out of breath that we had to run back. haha.

and i just have to say WELL DONE EVERYONE. shooters, cheerers, players and all the random other people like karen and adeline who were scoring! and vidya who filled yuezhen's bottle for me! haha i think we really made netball carn a day to remember! but poor poor wing who sprained her ankle in the middle of a game. hai what is with our midfielders and ankles! yuezhen wing kelly and actually if you think about it, vivian! haii lol vivian's case was sad though i think its quite terrible not to play during netball carn because of some injury or another. VIVIAN however, was happily playing tennis later.... okay anyway

then after dismissal we walked to luvy's house! i SWEAR its like a hotel in there. with the keycard access and all. mmm i never saw her house though we all went into the function room. since the toilet was busy i sat in her freezing lobby with shuting and talked/stoned for awhile. then we went back into the function room and i changed, and played one round of pig, and THEN THE FOOD CAME! ahha yummm pizza. after pizza i played abit of the game of life, where my life was going quite good. i was an accountant, with a salary of $80 thousand, had stock, and i wasnt gay! (unlike simran; but in all fairness i was the one who made her gay) but like halfway through the game shuting annouced that they were going to PLAY TENNIS!!! so i got all flustered and made yuezhen take over my game when i rushed off to go play tennis too! yuezhen later reported that she almost won - dengying winning her by only $10 thousand (which is very little in game of life)

tennis was superbly fun! ahha i got luvy's father's racket or something because it was nice and not too light and not too heavy and it had a shock absorber! lol and me and shuting were feeling pro because we could at least get the ball over the net. XD i later found out, however, that many people in our class can play tennis! so many of them take lessons/are naturally pro! this fact, i smsed over to shuting after she left early at 9 with sophia. when shuting replied, i was playing tennis so i made yuezhen reply for me.

at one point i said "oh sorry this time no bubblegum!" then shuting replied "oh nvmind now got mp3 and bow wow wow" and everyone was being pseudo suspicious and hmmmm okay bubblegum must mean drugs and bow wow wow must be some kind of alcohol.

it was a fun game! XD we should have outings like this more often. okay i shall go now. this is kind of a long blog entry isnt it! hahaa okay but cannot compare with shuting. 0_____o
