Now, every family should have a family history, no? So. Our family was formed earlier this year when our (soon to be) fps mentor ms may tan asked if any of us would like to try out fps! And so our family was formed. Audrye, Huimin, Chris-Tin and Shuting.
Since march we have battled through problems, underlying problems, solutions, criteria, ranking and action plans, at the same time braving global warming, freedom of speech and most recently, nutrition.
Our unofficial meeting venue was always Chris-tin's house, and in the process, all of us gained weight with all the many many many marks and spencers cookies and ruffles we had! So much for learning about all the transfat.
It was in this intellectual environment that chemical bonding took place! In the end, we officially became the fps family, which can withstand high temperatures without any change in state. XD
A note about the name! reverse electrolysis was one of our action plans! and fps stands for Future Problem Solving!
Did you know? Chris-Tin killed the blog the first time because she didnt know that half the html for the blog was cut off, and she saved the template changes! so she had to do it all over again. ):

look! that was the product of 19 and a half hours working on it. we worked from 6pm to 3pm the next day (when it was due), with 1 and a half hours of sleep.
oh a bit of background, this was the global enterprise challenge, the same challenge was given to everyone around the world taking part in the same competition. we were given from 6pm on sunday the 17th to 3pm monday the 18th to complete the task. and the task was: to create a working model of an innovative game that will entertain, inform and educate 8-12 year olds about global citizenship. you must also produce a 2 page business plan and prepare a 3 min presentation. well i guess you can guess the rest.
i wouldnt say that i enjoyed it thoroughly, but then again, it wasnt without its rewards. i guess its a bittersweet memory. but the most important thing was that gec really slammed me back into the real world, when i had been happily traversing through life with the illusion that maybe the whole world is supposed to be like RJC. no wait, i meant 411.
oh well. im going to die of liver failure i swear. I NEED A HUGGGG ): and a hot water bottle. please?
i shall show shuting my sad and reproachful face. T_T
